atmosphere was great! loved the chairs! food was plentiful and amazing! service was great. the waiter kept us well stocked and the manager visited twice while we were there. the salsa was awesome! well developed for both the spicy and the mild. the spicy had just a tiny kick that build up to a pleasant burn nothing to spicy but yummy. restrooms: the bathroom was clean and well stocked.
Unfortunately I have to, and must write a review. When you grab a bite to eat at a place like this and get a little suprise. Clean, well staffed, attentive on service I cannot strongely enough recommend the place. Excellent in all regards. There has to be someone in management there that is running the ship like it should as though you wanted the best experiance. Well done to all assocated! Keep it up ! Let all that work there know of such an excellent Job.
Loved our experience. This was probably the best Hispanic food I've had in a long time; large amounts, great flavor, and not very expensive. Walls painted with murals, as are the chairs. Service was amazing; very friendly and quick with everything. Will be back here the next time I'm in town. Great job everyone.
We are in Yankton, a 3 hour drive to try new restaurants over the next few days.. Today we are trying El Tapatio Mexican restaurant. We love the layout and atmosphere, very beautifully done, excellent usage of space with seating.. As we wait for our food, I'm noticing that portion size appears large.. The seem to have an extensive alcohol selection for those wanting adult beverages.. Appetizer. Queso Fundido with chicken and flour tortillas. Very good, excellent flavor, chicken was perfect.. Entrees.. Burrito de carne asada with cheese sauce. Large portion, good flavor, the steak is tender and delicious.. Tamale.. Soft, moist, perfect... Fajitas Mezquite My wife said she loves it.. It tried a bit, it has a good smokey flavor, the steak is tender, the chicken is good and the shrimp is delicious and large... We both agree, this place is very nice, if it were closer to home, we would be regulars... Also, hit the follow button...
1st reaction is that the lunch menu pricing is very reasonable, but changed that to awesome when the food came! The food surpassed expectations in both quantity and quality...will certainly go back there the next time we're in town.

I try to eat at dinner at new places when I'm traveling. I stopped here today for lunch and I'm glad I did! Such a large variety of food to order from on the menu. I had a dinner combination and the portions were so large I couldn't finish it all! Great food and service. I'd eat here anytime that I travel through Yankton South Dakota.
First timer. So glad we chose to eat here. Seated quickly and waited on just as quick. Chips and salsa very good. Like that you are served mild and spicy. Not overly spicy either. Waiter, Miguel, was great. The wife had a Margherita and she said it was very good. She ordered an enchilada and I had tapatio platter. Such good food. This is our new favorite place to eat in Yankton. We will eat here every time we are in town.
